The race

Swedish version

For the 10th and last time ever it's time for Swedens toughest oneday race. The competition that reveals all weekness. As usual, swimming competence is needed in the Elit class. The starting point is a secret and only a few, hopefully the captain and the organizers know were and is as usual a la Normandie, right down in the water and a short swim of approximately 100meters.

After the lovely swim there is some news. We have removed the trail/easy orienteering starter, and through you right at the mortal mountain course. As usual there will be a hurdle of suprize somewhere along the track and then we dont mean trowing dart or something similar but a challanging moment that will benefit the strongest. So keep up with your exercise, LMT will tell if you have done your homework well.

For the Lång-course the same description is applicable, but without the preseeding bath.

As usual we will offer families or friends a special race map after the start so that they can see there loved ones on several locations on the track.

Elit 22-25 km on the line, and approx 1600-2100 ascending meters
Lång 15-18 km on the line, and approx 1000-1500 ascending meters
Motion 90 min visiting the most exciting course spots.

Elit
Starts with at boattrip followed by the longest mountain course in LMT history. The map is a 1:20 000 scaled tourist map, with marked tourist attractions. Along the course there might be suprises and some extra orienteering challenges.

Lång
The same as Elit, excep the boattrip.
